- Project Description:
Redevelopment and Upgradation of Central Vista Avenue and associated facilities at New Delhi, India – The revamped Rajpath now renamed as “Kartavya Path” involved construction of Chambers & Manholes to access underground trenches, Electrical Cabling, Stormwater Piping, Light Poles along Rajpath and in the gardens, refurbished to include Public Address system, CCTV, flags, etc., Granite pathways, Bollards, and Signages. Apart from the Rajpath that was relaid, the revamp also involved relaying of green lawns with irrigation system containing existing trees and designated walkways.
The canals on both sides of Rajpath have been refurbished with kotah stone lining and permanent bridges have been built. The stretch has stone benches, other street furniture and also public conveniences. The other facilities built include four pedestrian underpasses, eight amenity blocks, India Gate plaza and parking areas for cars and buses
